Being born-again through faith in Jesus Christ grants us power to overcome the world’s temptations, threats, and lies. This victory is rooted in our regeneration that transforms us, aligning us with God’s unconquerable will.
Faith in the Son of God
The passage continues, “Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” True overcoming victory hinges on faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God. This belief is a deep trust in His divinity and sacrifice upon the cross.

Our Father in Heaven,
Thank You for the victory through faith in Your only-begotten Son. Help me trust Him fully, overcoming the world and all temptations. Strengthen my faith to live boldly for Your glory.
